I've had mine for just over 2 years now, I have the model from Sam's Club, so far so good, although I do put it in the garage when it's not in use. Today I have six butts in it for our niece's graduation party on Saturday.
I'm doing my first brisket today. I really appreciate all of the great advice found here! I'm using yellow mustard and Jeff's rub with some hickory and apple wood. Got the 9 and a half pounder(that's more then one of our dogs weighs) on at 5:45 AM.

I have also smoked a variety of hot chilies. After smoking I dehydrate them and then grind them in a old coffee grinder. I then put some in a jar with a shaker top and sprinkle on anything you want to add a smoky spicy flavor to.
