    Royal Oak - Smoker

I looked it up locally and while the price is a lot better than it was, it's still not that cheap. Can you tell me what store you saw it at for $210 with SFB? Thanks.

ProQ Excel 20 Review and First Burn...Part One

Actually I just called them to see if they carried the Excel 20 and they are no longer working with ProQ. Interesting.

ProQ Excel 20 Review and First Burn...Part One

I've been considering a WSM 22.5" to compliment my UDS and that exclusive distributor (Freds Music and BBQ) is about 15 mintues from me. Where are you getting your details on the 2010 model and do you know when they will be available? Thanks.

New Build - Smoker on Tailgate Trailer

That is just awesome. Great job. I live in PA now, but grew up in the south and went to UVA. Love the ACC. You must really be enjoying those games now.

Today is the day...I hope! Help? please?

That's a nice find. Four hour drive for me...hmmmmmmmmm. As much as I love my UDS I still want a unit like that (and a 22" WSM).

    Basic Pulled Pork Smoke

I always cook mine fat cap up. As Pineywoods said, it's personal preference. I also brine mine sometimes with kosher salt, brown sugar, and a little bit of the rub I'm using. Anyone else brine their butts (LOL)???

    Tejas (???) smoker on ebay?

Anyone ever heard of Tejas smokers or know anything about them? There is a model 1628 for sale on ebay that is within driving distance of me. Can you run this smoker with charcoal as well? Links below; http://cgi.ebay.com/BBQ-Texas-Pit-Sm...d=p4011.c0.m14...

    Question for the UDS builders

Post any questions you have, lots of friendly people here. You'll find my post from about a year ago with this information in it (doing another I would just get 2" nipple that's threaded all the way across and use it); First I want to say THANK YOU to everyone who helped me out and answered...

    Finished my second drum

That is really awesome. I have drum envy. How far from the top/bottom did you mount your grates? Do you think the food on the bottom grate is going to cook considerably faster than the top and you'll have to rotate the food often?

Question for UDS "Dome Lid" guys/gals

Deep fry your turkey, it's the only way! I haven't smoked with my Weber lid on my UDS, only tried it on for size and I thought it fit really good. Need to go back and take a look at the seal.

    New ROYAL OAK smoker impressions

Hey Bman, who did you use for shipping? I'm afraid having this shipped (freight) from OK to PA is going to cost more than the smoker itself. Any suggestions? I don't care how long it takes, as long as it's reasonable and that's a bit much for a road trip.

What is a Bellfab unit? Is it a Horizon smoker and where did you get it? I don't see anything they offer for $500? Do you have a link? Thanks.
