    Smoked turkey w/ q-view

    Did another turkey last weekend. Turned out pretty good. I brined it over night and put some pineapple and a couple of plums into the cavity. I also did it with an "Asian" style in mind. I used peanut sauce on it and made a soy sauce, mirin, and sesame oil as a spray. It turned out pretty good.

    Got a full chamber today! Beautiful day in MN for some q. Q-view to follow. 3-2-1 on the ribs. Fattie has 2lb. ground beef and 1lb. italian sausage.     More Ribs......Finally

    I'm doin some spares today for the first time in a long time. I'll be doing the 3-2-1 method and spraying them with a apple juice/ Cutty Sark mixture. I hope it goes well and I'll gets some q-view up. I hope y'all are havin a great weekend and smokin some good eats!

    Beef Back Ribs, ABT's and 12lbs. of Pork Butt

    Started early on 2 smokers, My Chargriller has the ABT's and ribs. Started the butts in my buddy's Little Chief electric jobbie. Moved the butts to the Chargriller when space opened up. Heres a view of the ribs and ABT's, I will have the pork when it is done. Patience, patience, patience!

    I just had a friend of mine call and ask me if it was okay to bring some tofu to put on the smoker for his wife. I told him to tell her that I could only put it in the smoker if I soak it in bacon grease. She's not gonna come over I guess. Hahaha Just thought I would share that as I found it...

    Boiling of the Ribs?.....I Think Not!!!!!!!

    Went to a "Rib-fest" today. Evry single booth boiled ribs in sometin or other. Bunk is the word for all of that crap. Boiling= pouring out the flavor. I like ribs because they taste like ribs. Not pineapple juice or spiced water. Ribs are ribs. They've been killed once, why kill them again?

    1st Pork Butt

    She's lookin pretty good so far. I used Jeff's rub. 250 about 8 hours-til 160. Wrapped er in foil with some more spray. Now I'm waiting to get tol temp and cool. Patience is pretty tuff right now, but I'm gonna stick to the plan. I'll post some Q-views when done. Thanks for all the help once again!
