    Has anyone use the cooking(roasting bags) like for turkeys to put ribs in with liquid instead of foil? Seems that everytime I foil, I end up with a leak.

    Wrap in FOIL???

    Thanks Is there any reason I should not bag in roasting bag, THEN wrap in foil? I did try double wrap of heavy duty foil. Not only did it leak (gusess I seamed,tore hole etc in foil) but wife 'yelled' at me for using so much foil(costs$) Thanks

    OK when I did my butts, I wrapped in foil and put some of the basting sause in the package. All turned out well even though I had a hole in foil and most sause dripped out. Is there any reason to use foil? OR could we put the butts in a 'turke' roastin bag? Thanks Jerry

    Am I to understand that RIVAL no longer makes the KC Smoker? I am an RVer, and purchased one at Christmas and have been using when we travel. It is small enough to pack in the RV and does turn out some good Q. Is there anything else on the market that is similar? Thanks

    Rival K.C. Smoker

    That is a GREAT buy. We love our unit. We RV, Snowbirds. The rival unit rides in the tow car and setup on a table outside RV. Its nice to do Q with a min of stuff to lug around. It turns out great Q but must check temp as thermostat seems off. Its also great to have a oven to use outside the RV.
