    Great 1st cook with the MES 40!  4 butts 3 racks of spares everyone loved the food and I think I've got 2 friends heading to Sam's today to get their own.  Wide open was a little too much on the AMNPS, but I'll experiment with the chip loader and tray position going forward.

    4 butts in and the AMNPS is smoking away.  I took the chip tray and chip loader out and have the top vent full open, is this what most of you do with the AMNPS?  Temp is holding at 225 and we've got TBS so I figure it's all good!

    My well used black MES 30 needed a playmate.  Picked it up at Sam's and hope to get it seasoned tomorrow, I plan to have both going for a larger gathering on Saturday, butts in the 40 ribs in the 30.  Got 1 AMNPS to mess with on the way, if it's as good as advertised will probably add a 2nd. ...

    This one's a winner! 2 lbs frozen shredded hashbrowns thawed 1 can cream of chicken soup 8 oz shredded cheddar 1 cup sour cream 1/2 stick butter melted diced onion, salt & pepper to taste. Mix it all up and spread in 13x9 pan. Cook 1 hour @ 350 or 40-45 mins @ 400. Enjoy!

    I think I'm getting a black MES this weekend at Cabelas. Should look sweet next to my Kamado. Do they make a cover for it? It will be under cover, but I'd like to keep it extra protected. I guess I can get a generic one if nothing else.
