    I bought the recipe for the sauce and the rub along with the e course. My wife was wondering if she cans the sauce how long it will last? Getting ready to do two 8lbs butts overnight. Q view will come through out the night. Must be done by 3pm tomorrow when the masses gather at my house.

    nervouse about smoking.

    I am going to smoke a picnic shoulder this sunday and I am a rookie to smoking pretty much. I think it weighs about 5-7lbs. I have a small Brinkman electric smoker. Any advice would be awesome.

    First time smoker sorta

    Just bought an electric smoker today. A brinkman. Gonna try to do a whole chicken tomorrow. Been into smoked meats for quite sometime just now getting into the hobby of doing it myself and read on alot of sites the an electric smoker is good for a novice to start off with! HAPPY NEW YEAR!
