    If you feel that you need more fat, you could just add some lard. Since it is rendered down fat. Should be able to buy it anywhere.

    That grinder is just a cheap "Made in China" grinder. The pulley came with the unit. The only mods that I have made was to a couple of plates.

    The pulley on the grinder is 12". The pulley on the 1/3hp motor is 1". Motor rpm is 1725 which would make the grinder rpm about 144rpm. This is a little under powered for the amount of sausage that I make. I am looking to upgrade very soon. (this is a furnace motor)
