    hey Kookie I have price out the Lem model 5lb vertical stuffer and I ended up with one from Grizzly.com the have the same design for only 69.95 the also have a 15 lb model for 249.95. Just thought I passed that along.

    Another Newbie question, all right I took a peice of pork loin got it for 1.89 a pound, rubbed it with tender quick and brown sugar and put it in a vac bag, now for the question does it cut down on the time in the fridge since it is vaccumed or is it going to be the same amount of time.

    Yup thats about it. The problem I have is it never last more than a day in house between the kids , wife , myself and have to fight off the dog.

    I have a MES and I use the Hi Mountain mix and they say 200 for about 2 to 2 1/2 hours. If you like it soft I would start checking it at 2 hours. They problem with checking it is you don't want to stop checking it,

    Mark I believe the blades are you ready for this 79.98 almost as much as the slicer and the part number for it is 39-1250 and the reason I know isI asked about one also.
