    It sounded so interesting that I had to try it for my Sunday Football Game Bloody Mary.  Glad I did.  Took a couple of hours to melt, used Apple wood. 3-4 smokes cubes (along with plain ice) in a Pint glass seems to be right..... 5 was too smoky, 2 was not smoky enough. If you take your time...

    Pepper Jelly sound good!!!  I don't have a dehydrator so I just let them sit for a few days to a week - and I agree...... all taste better smoked!!

    I smoked them at around 250-270 for about 4 hours.  Some dry quicker than others - so I then lay them out on pans for a few days to dry some more.
