I have had my Meater+ for just over a year. I have had some connection issues which is inherent to bluetooth devices. Not sure why after 20 year bluetooth still sucks... Anyway. overall I had been happy with it. The estimate to completion with the carry over temp is pretty good as long as you...
Is there an additional step I need to do to get the 60% off? Or has the deal changed? It is now 50%. Still a great deal but with meat prices that additional $14 would help. Thanks.
The video description is correct on that video but the smoker in the video is not correct.

I have have a roll top BBQ100 Traeger that has served me well for 16+ yrs but it is getting old and starting to rust out. I updated the controller about 10 yrs ago from the 3 position switch. Has the smoke setting.
I have a friend who said I could basically have his 2-3 yr old Traeger. It is...
Does anyone have experience with these wireless probes? I got the Meater for xmas. I like it. The app needs improving.
I know the Yummly and Meatstick has hire temp ratings but that is all I can really see different.
I purchased a 3 rib prime rib approx 10 lbs. Plans have changed and I have too much.
In your opinion would it be better to cut in half and freeze or smoke the whole thing and then freeze half?
Wow, I have not posted in 9 yrs... anyway, I have a 20 yr old Traeger bbq100 deluxe. I have updated the electronics and it still works but has an issue reaching 350f unless the weather is perfect. I use my 15 yr old weber to sear and grill.
I was thinking of replacing both with a large...
I like the 3,2,1 idea. it will be more of a party w/ 5-10 of us seriously smoking. our friends and families know each other enough that we do not have to worry about ballet stuffing and if someone does, oh well. we can fix it in the 2nd annual event :-)
Myself and a bunch of friends are planning a backyard competition. I think we will have 5-10 smokers. We are thinking of doing ribs and tri-tips. Pretty much anything goes. Judging just best taste. We will have our friends and family will bring sides and just be a party. Figure have everyone...
i have someone who wants to sell their traeger grill for $200. it does not have electronic control and i about 5 yrs hold. It is rather large but I am not sure on the model. What do used traegers go for in decent condtition? thanks
I am smoking 3 tri-tips for Christmas eve dinner. I have done several and they are wonderful but I want to do them in advance. What is the best way to reheat them? I was thinking of leaving them whole. Slicing them when cold. My mom has one of those buffet serving crock pot that heats food or...
I bought one after my GOSM (small) died. The GOSM was a good smoker but i like my PF much better. It taller and has an extra rack so I can fit more meat. It also has vents on the lower sides which my small GOSM did not. Oh, try to find one that has the cast iron chip box. I bought mine on...
mine did not come w/ the hooks at the top..I thought the floor model had them. I am not worried about that though. i do not see me making sausages in this smokers life time. I am glad to get the cast iron chip box. huge improvement over my old GOSM small sheet metal box.
