Got a full smoker today, two butts, two racks of spare ribs and a tray of ABT's. Also outside the smoker is a big bowl of homemade slaw...I am in HEAVEN!!!

It's the weekend so it's time for another smoke. I have 2 8.5 pound butts I got at sams. I am trying to plan this out for tomorrows dinner. On average how long would you say it will take them to get to the point when they will need to be foiled?

I fired up the new GOSM smoker today (already seasoned) and filled the water pan with water and apple juice. I used Jeff's rub on the ribs and tossed them in with a mixture of hickory and apple chips.
The temp has been running aroud 240 ish and in 3 hours I did not see a lot of pull...
