    Smoking than deep frying?

    Has anyone ever done this I was thinking of doing this for Thanksgiving this year, but I don't know if it is worth the hassle. Half the crowd I am feeding likes smoked and half liked deep fried. I was going to smoke at a lower temp and then finish in the fryer. What do you think? Thanks Griff
