I visited the Jerky Outlet at the entrance to Cableas in Dundee Michigan.
I sampled then purchased Honey Bbq beef jerky.
OMG that stuff is the best tasting jerky ive ever eaten in my life.
Anybody have a recipe for this?
Thanks in advance,
Mike
I reccoment an electric Cookshack smoker, I have 2, both my kids got them as wedding gifts and they still tell me it was the best gifts they recieved.
They are very cheap to operate, very well insulated and produce great products.

Take your probe or a meta fork and see if it slides into the side of the brisket like warm butter, if so its done.
If not your probe may be in a fat pocket. If so poke the brisket in another place.

We purchased a Waring from Cabelas.
Thing works like a champ, hightest temp is 375 degrees.
Its not a commercial gas fired deep fryer that we use for our big fried chicken dinners but it beats a dutch oven on an electric stove.

I smoke mozzeralla sp? cheese and its the bomb.
Last batch I bought mild cheddar and mozz.......and smoked it.
Tonto said it was very good.
I believe the smoked cheese sold in stores has had some type of dye added to it.
