Hopefully I'm posting this question correctly...I just bought a MasterBuilt two door propane smoker. My first smoker. I saw a probe thermometer at Lowe's but the cord to the probe was round and covered in plastic. The back of the box specifically said not to let the cord get pinched. Before I go drilling a hole in the pretty new smoker...can anyone tell me if there is a thermometer with a flat cord that has less chance of being pinched? Or is there actually no issue to worry about with the round cord?
