i went to the store to get some meat for pulled pork and he only bone in sections they had were about 9 pounds and that’s too much for my family. So I got a boneless shoulder. Didn’t realize until I got home it’s a pork blade roast? Will this work for pulled pork? I should have just got the 9#er

That is a Boston Butt. Blade Roast is just one of the name changes used to dissuade the fears of folks that think it Literally is a pigs BUTT. That is the most popular cut for Pulled Pork...JJ

If its too much for your family, vac seal some smaller packs and throw it in your freezer it will be good for a long time. also reheating 1/2# pack of PP at lunch time is awesome. eat better and cheaper than going to grab lunch.

Thanks for the info guys. Next time I will get the bigger one and freeze it. This piece of meat had two smaller pieces under it that aren’t even part of the cut so not sure how to cook them since they will probable be done in a couple of hours

Small pieces = Pitmaster's snack!...JJ
