Hey all, new to the forum.

I originally hail from Oklahoma where smoking a loaf of bologna is commonplace and oh so delicious. Problem is I can't find anywhere that even sells bologna by the loaf out here. Any suggestions on where to look?

Also, wood. Any tips on where to buy? I use an offset style smoker. I am somewhat limited on how much I can store being as I live in an apartment but paying for the packaged stuff from sportsmens warehouse or wherever pains me. Seems like there's gotta be someone out there I could pick up 10-15 cubic feet or so from for a reasonable price.

Also, I live in the Puyallup area.

Thanks for the tips and looking forward to the forum as a whole.

Look up "Firewood for sale"... Most folks sell Alder which is a very good smoking wood.. If they will let you drive to their wood yard maybe you can load up a trunk full...

I buy my bologna at Stewart's Meats in McKenna. It's about 20 miles from Puyallup I get it in 5 lb loafs .

I hope that helps

Hey Cody, morning... WOW, that appears to be quite the meat market... Wish I lived closer so I could take a tour... I think I could walk around in there for a couple hours...

4 lbs of German Balogna from Stewart's meats in Yelm . It has the same spices as their Jager schnitzel . I fired up the Treager will have final pic's in a few hours.

Can't wait to see how this turned out

I need to make a trip to Stewarts one of these days. It's been a while since I've been out that way.

Stewarts is phenomenal but a word of advice to you. Bring double the amount of money you plan on spending and write down everything you want or have a great memory because that place can be a mad house with very little standing room. Because of how busy they are it is very fast paced at those times and you dont want to be THAT guy. They also have the best Alder Garlic Beef Jerky!!!!!
