Ribeyes on my “Q”

Well, Mrs Bear informed me yesterday morning that I was Grilling a couple Ribeyes for Supper.

She had already gotten them out to thaw, so I’m not going to argue with the Boss.

I figured we were due for some Tasty “Choice” Ribeyes anyway.

So she marinated them in some Teriyaki Marinade for a couple hours.

Then out to the Grill I go.

They both tasted great, but one was the toughest Ribeye we have ever had, and the other one was Very Tender as usual.

Enjoy the Pics!

Very nice Bear, them ribeyes look perfect! That dinner plate, I think I could have that meal a couple times a week. That breakfast looks awesome too, did you reheat the ribeye in the SV? Just curious. Sorry to hear one was tough, we had that happen a month or so ago... Just figured maybe that just happens from time to time. Again, nice Q cook!

nice pair steaks ... ribeyes are my fav ........ point strong bear .. also like the breakfast .. usually I finish wife's steak like that next day ,,,

Look Great, Still my favorite steak, I can almost taste it !!!

Thank You Justin!!
Actually I made them both on the Grill only, and we shared the first one, and it was tough.
Then I Nuked the second one to reheat it for Breakfast & the next night's supper, and that one was Tender.
So it had to just be a tough piece of Beef.
And Thanks for the "Like".

LOL---I used to eat part of Mrs Bear's after mine.
Then a few months ago, I started making only one Steak & we'd share it.
Now this time I made two Ribeyes & the whole second one was left over, so I ate a little for Breakfast & most of the second one for my next day's Supper. It's a lot cheaper when you can't eat so much.

It doesnt get much better than a pair of ribeyes.. cant say personally that ive ever been able to put one in the fridge from dinner and it survive the night till breakfast haha!

They look absoutely beautiful bear!

A side note.. the mrs and i were admiring some of the bears you have carved earlier.. truly amazing!

Bear we don't buy steaks here,we get Tenderloins or PR cheaper
That little grill gets some nice sear marks Points

The steaks looked really tasty!
Sometimes you just get a tough one!
The chuck end of a rib eye is the most tender.
So I always ask the butcher for the 1st 4 bones on the chuck end, when I buy a PR roast.
Then cut my own steaks.

Those look great John. If I can't have a nice thick strip loin then ribeye is my choice in steak. Yours look REAL tasty.

I too like to do steak and eggs the next morning, and typically choose a steak too large to eat in a single sitting just so I can enjoy the next day treat.

Some of my Steaks are like that, but some of them She bought already cut, because of the good price at the time.
