I know this is bringing up something from the way past.
Does anyone still have a link to these spreadsheets? It would be way easier than trying to recreate from scratch.
thanks

I've only got to go about 15 minutes from my house. I think I will foil everything before moving it. With a reverse flow I'm not sure how much ash I will get but hopefully it will be minimal.
So are there any tricks to transporting a 'live' smoker? It looks like I have to move mine next weekend about halfway thru the cook time. It's already on a trailer so that dosen't matter.
My main concern is a temp spike while towing. How do I prevent this or just go with the flow?
Little update. Brisket and butts are off the smoker. All looking good. Now it is loaded with ribs, a elk roast, fresh caught salmon, beans, and a couple of chickens. Still have to put in the ABT's (when I find room)
This could end up in a number of different places but since the majority of what I am smoking is pork I'll start here.
Many of you have seen my build thread over in the stick burners. Finally getting a chance to try out the new toy.
Started tonight with 2 6lb pork butts and a 10lb brisket...
Got the smoker mounted in the trailer last night. Made a removable mounting system so if we want to put it in the yard we can pull it from the trailer. Hopefully this weekend I will get a shelf built for the front so I have somewhere to set things.
Please ignore the mess in the garage. Got...
I have been on here for a while and have seen very little activity from the great Pacific Northwest.
We don't have any comps besides the Canadian Championships at Whistler (which I missed last week)
I would really like to talk to others in the area that enjoy smoking stuff (not the green...

It's actually going to be both. I have a small all steel utility trailer that will be used to two the rig. I plan on having mounts built into the trailer that will hold it, my pot cooker, and my big griddle. Then if I want to put it in the backyard I can remove it from the trailer. That is...
Finally grabbed the camera and took a couple of pictures. Yes it's ugly right now. Yes it needs paint. And there are a few things to still do to finish it.
But it did one hell of a job with the meat this last weekend.
Well it's been a long time. I took a few months off for some other projects and finally got back to the smoker build about two weeks ago. Stupid me didn't take pictures along the way but I will post a couple later today.
Somker is basically done. I need to adjust some points on the main door as...
So back before the board went down I had started to talk and question about building a reverse flow out of a older bbq on a trailer.
That idea has now gone out the window and I have the actual project started. My friend was nice enough to donate his old shop air compressor and a trailer to the...
