We didn't have time to do a full on smoke, so we decided to just grill our burgers tonight. Rivet #2 cooked 'em to perfection.
We had 5 custom shaped burgers...
...homemade potato fries...
...add dressings for the burgers.
Although we didn't have any, we recommend Kraft singles.

That looks really good! I wish I was there to help you eat! We're thinking of smoking burgers next time we get the chance to. Can't wait to see how they'll compare with those beauties.
As many people have said you should always smoke with the vent open. I also tend to use a lighter wood when smoking poultry, and a heavier wood when smoking beef; unless the beef is going to be in the smoker for a while such as a brisket. Welcome to smf and hope you have a great smoke!
I'd say that smoking a stuffed fatty was the most fun, but my favorite would have to be brisket. After putting so much time and effort into one my choice is brisket.
The time has come for us to make another wonderfull brisket, but this time we didn't have the help from Rivet. This was our first brisket done all by ourselves, and using all the experience Rivet has given us we were able to smoke an awesome brisket.

We're the Little Rivets and we have some smoking experience thanks to the Rivet. We have a propane grill and a wood smoker. Little Rivet #2 smoked his own brisket the other day and we'll be posting a thread with all the delicious details later.
