    that pan looks more like an oil pan or fluid pan for oil and lubricants. I use an aluminum cake pan or even an aluminum pizza pan kris

    The expanded metal was really nice. Take a small cut off wheel and mark the points you want it bent then just bend it over itself and use bolts and washers to secure. Check out my pic it has the basket i made for about 20.00 and it is going to outlast my drum kris

    almost exactly what i was looking for. Thanks, it gives me another idea. I was almost hoping there was something for the probe of a digital thermometer. This way i can have it BEEP at me while im drinking beer and playing video games if the temps get too high:) I might go this route though...

    I have a UDS but the question pertains to adding a thermometer on the side. Im looking for a high temp grommet so i can drill a hole into the side just below the grates. Does anyone have a clue what to use, or where to source one? I can draw pictures if this doesnt make any sense kris

    Wondering what everyone thinks about using Avocado tree wood. Last night was really windy and nasty outside and my avocado tree was uprooted. It was about 4-5 years old and should yield a nice stock pile of wood. Am i keeping it, or tossing it? kris
