    It looks like the hinges are just mounted too far forward creating a big gap.

    The seal is there, it just does not come close to the body of the smoker. Looks like I will be taking this back tonight.

    Hello, I just bought a new MES 40" with the window from sams club. While breaking it in i noticed about a 1/2" gap around the door. I have adjusted the door clamp and I cannot seem to close this gap. I am wondering if this is something i should try and repair, or just take it back to Sam's...
