    Seasoning MES

easy, run it for half hour at 160 or so to burn the oil off with the damper to full open, then pick a choice of wood and run it at 225 for 4 hours and it's perfect..........you can spray some oil in there after the first burn and before the wood smoke burn, but that is totally up to...

    best beer for BBQ

cheap beer....that's all you need for grilling, unless your drinking it..... but when I say cheap....nothing below bud lite.....but no miller crude.....too much of there "petunia hop" taste........ other then that, dont use it, just grill and drink decent beer while doing it....

    just learning

hey cookshack makes some nice smokers, dont get tied up the the "smoker snobs" and all....sure competition basically say's you must use fire and not gas or electric, but that does not mean gas and electric can't make good smoke.....I myself use a MES and love it....

    Teriyaki Marinade

Monty, you could easily omit the "teriyaki sauce" and just use soy sauce instead and it would be fine, granted you then might want to think of adding a tad more ginger and brown surgar.......I've used something very similar to this on ground beef teriyaki jerky in the past.......

    Obama and the kittens

naw, just remember as we said....political things get tempers fired up too damn quick, and as I stated, the joke is really not that funny to be honest and was posted before but in the opposite direction of parties.......no big deal, I have my opinions and I have my rear end....sometimes both are...
