With everyone's help here on this forum I have finally freaking smoked great ribs !!!! I have made decent ones last year, but I finally nailed it. No complaints for once. Now that I finally nailed it, I'm going to try smoking a pork butt sometime soon. Thanks everyone !!!

I was always afraid I was burning the wood by letting it turn to ash...should I still turn the wood over or just leave it...do you guys recommend I use coal on the bottom and put wood on top...i have been soing just wood

thanks guys...so just buy the digital thermo? ive gotten a few ideas from everyone, but what is the best way to set the temp up...just let the thing that gets the temp hang somewhere in the middle?
