I used the Wal-mart one for my first build and the lid is the exact size as the opening on the drum (i fooled with it but still don't like the way it fits). If this one fits the drum opening I would be interested in...
I made these, one using old Chevy small-block springs and push rods. I find 1" is too small to hold peppers well. I need some bigger springs and drills to make these work better.

I have 2 55 gallon barrels and a garage full of metal and welding gear. I plan on doing a charcoal/wood burner grill/smoker. I know it sounds ambitious and I won't be able to really explain it until it's built but I will post pics.
