    Rub ingredient question

    Hi I'm just getting started with smoking and I have Jeff's rub recipe. It's pretty clear except for one ingredient, Chili powder. Is this commercial chili powder with all the added spices or is is just ground dried chilis? I have both in my pantry. Thanks, hope it's not a dumb question...
