    I've tried that over and over, but it still goes off. If you've done it, then I'll try again. I called the manufacturer and they had no idea why I'd want it so low! Definitely yankees! If anybody else has other suggestions, I'm open! Thanks! Joe

    I have the same issue with my GOSM smoker. I have the 20" wide version, and with a full pan of water and plaenty of meat, I can't get it below $250! This means that I can't do an over-night brisket because 18 - 24 hours at that high of a temperature is deadly! I only have the top vent. Will...
