    Yea I was thinking it would be a lot like pecan. I am also going to start saving all of my shells, we tend to go through a bunch of filbert shells around christmas time.

    Fattie ends didnt seal

    Hey y'all I just rolled my first fattie and when I had it rolled up I wrapped it in the saran wrap and twisted the ends.... the ends didn't seal up. I think I got my filling too close to the edge, any suggestions or should it be ok as is?

    Thin brisket

    I was going to slice, as far as rubs... I havent bought Jeffs rub YET, I have been experimenting on my own, the family dont share my fondness for spicy so I try to make sweeter rubs. I have come up with a kick azz rub with herbs for chicken my pork/beef rub is still a work in progress.
