    I agree with the OP here, stay away from kits. Cheese is pretty easy (not to knock the OP here, you did a great looking job) and not to mention fun. Get the kids involved and it's much more fun!

    I wouldn't trust the manufacturing guidelines/laws in the country where they are made. They can cut the alloy with a few diff. metals that are EXTREMELY toxic in order to make them less expensive and still plenty pliable. I would err on the side of caution here.

    IMHO it is better to soft boil the eggs then pack with your force meat and bread/fry. this way the yolk is still palatable.
