    Heavy Modded Char-Griller Minnesota

The previous owner did the mods, I was lucky enough to get to enjoy them a couple of years. He took thin sheet metal and double lined the chamber. Ran a spacer between the factory metal and the liner. This gives it a dead air space to retain heat better. He also made a metal plate to sit...

Looking for a left handed shotgun

Browning made the BPS that was a bottom eject, that either right or left handers could shoot without seeing spend hulls flying past your face. There may be more bottom eject guns out by now? Benellie makes a left handed auto loader too.

target: I'm located about 45 minutes south of Minneapolis, near Faribault, MN Graybeard: I can get some more pictures posted tonight. The wrap around "L shelf" is made from steel. I think it is actually a metal shelf that was fit and cut? montes: I made the leap to a Stumps. I've been...

    Heavy Modded Char-Griller Minnesota

Attn: All Minnesota (and all other) Members Summer Get Together

Thanks, Nice looking T-Top you have. Last Valentines day the roads were dry and I took mine out for a spin. Not going to happen this year. I have a 4 foot high snow drift blocking the shed door.

I have a 78 that is just about finished. 355 in it now, possibly dealing on a 383? Our son purchased my wifes 02 Monte SS and is going to school in Brookings. He came home this weekend with the front cowling all cracked up. Someone backed into him in the parking lot. I would love to see...

Attn: All Minnesota (and all other) Members Summer Get Together

Will you have any of your Montes there? Mine doesn't have a trailer hitch, so if I drive my Monte, no smoker. It's too early for me to commit. Great job for getting the wheels turning though. Mark

ABT's out of the rain Q-View

Thank you. I can not take the credit for the wheels, the previous owner modded it out. Sure makes it easy to roll around over uneven ground though. I forgot to mention with my garage setup, the garage is not attached to the house. It would be too easy for the smoke to get into the house if...

ABT's out of the rain Q-View

I live in southern Minnesota between Faribault and Mankato. The attic area is vented by 5 roof vents where the flex duct goes to. I also open 3 of the garage windows to get good cross flow ventilation of the main area. If that isn't enough, I open one of the two garage doors also. It has...

ABT's out of the rain Q-View

Yesterday in Minnesota it was raining, so I rolled the Char-griller indoors for a little Q-ing. Started off early morning with a brisket followed by 3 chicken breasts for ABT;'s. The 40 ABT's were my first try. 20 were stuffed with smoked chicken breast, onions, pepper jack and cream cheese...

ABT Jalapeno Pepper Corer (AKA TIME SAVER, W/pic)

I took your advice Murman and purchased the same tool. WOW that thing works awesome. Just turn the handle until you see the core turning, then remove. I did 40 jalapeños in no time at all. Tonight will be my first time smoking them.
