First Smoke - Success is Easy with MES
Tired of waiting for friends to smoke decided I'd buy my own, but not being much of a 'griller' bought an Old Smokey electric.... worked 'ok', but cooked way to fast and not what I was looking for....Tax Refund comes in and after researching more and the prices at Sams club, bought the 40" MES...- jomama2

Okay... tried the old smokey and while it had "some" smoke flavor, found it cooked way too fast it seemed with minor smoke flavor. Though will still be good for weekday smoking if needed. After reading several posts here and "other", bought one of the last Sam's club 40" Masterbuilts! It's... -

1st Smoke on the Old Smokey
I just bought my Old Smokey Electric and after some reading, the skin won't crisp because of having to cook with the lid on... to crisp skin place under broiler for a few.
