Reverse flow newb question
So then with the baffle at the opposite end of the pit is that controlling the heat getting into the pit or does it control the amount of smoke that gets to the meat? Again sorry with the questions but I have an idea in mind and trying to figure all this out before I go out on a limb with it.- jkd1

Reverse flow newb question
I understand how to build and the mechanics behind a reverse flow but have a couple questions. Is it the reflector plate that you are trying to heat that in return transfers the heat to the top side and heats the pit? Or is it just because the heat has to travel further and stays in the pit...- jkd1
