Its out hit 200 at 4pm. So got it wrapped and in cooler will take it out and slice at 6..Will get a shot of it then..God that thing smells somthing wondeful.
I keep wanting to attack it now but got to restrain myself :shock:
Dang That thing must be really thick.
I was suprised when I stuck mine at noon and it was 175. Not to thick of one. One end is thicker so I have stuck it there and in the center. Both about the same.
Maintaining 225 in the smoker.
Which mine is a Gas one though. Have to put water in every 1hr...

Just to let you know that was the best Chicken I have ever eaten Nothing left but bones..The kids just kept wanting more..Actualy the skin for some reason tasted really good..I added some of my special combo of spices I use on the grill..I also did the brine too..

Just got into Smoking..I got a Smokey Mountain Gas Smoker for Father's Day. I am about to go out and smoke my first Chicken..
I am from SC im 31 with a lovely wife and 3 great kids and love cooking on the grill so I decided to move to smoking.
