Nope throwing her in whole. Last time the 14 lb bird came out in 6.5 hours.. I was shocked that fast. Sometimes the process gets to me because I have to have it done by dinner but I don' want it done too early but obviously can' have it not cook in time. Oh the agrivations of inexperience
Happy holidays all!! So I work tomorrow so we celebrate Christmas today. Going to do a traditional ham in the oven, but the main for me is the turkey going in MES. Stuffing with onion, Apple, and garlic. Rubbing it down and throwing it in. More to come
Sorry for the delay my phone apparently wanted to take a dump on me the other day so I sadly do not have pictures. The bird reached the internal temp after about 6.5 hours. I was hoping for a little longer so next time I will drop the cooking temp another 10 degrees. It did come out phenomenal...
Making a turkey today. Figured with all the deals... why not!! Stuffed it with onions, apples, and fresh garlic. Got the masterbuilt electric smoker prepped with hickory chips. A light coat of olive oil and a small sprnkle of some Webber smoking rub... my go to rub. Injected with an apple juice...
Irma can suck it lol. We just got power back. not much damage to me, but loss of power. now that its back time to plug the smoker in and get back to it!
