Certain cooks really need soaking like when I cook pork butts and chicken. Other cooks I might just leave them together and put in the dishwasher. When you want them "showroom" clean though the taking apart and soaking definitely works great -

Cleaning tips: Soak in (very hot) water and dishwasher detergent. I use a ultrasonic cleaner which is painless and they come out spotless but I use dishwasher tablets in that. IMO the dish washer tabs do most of the work. The only thing I have to do is pull out the parts and that's... -

This worked out great! I love rotisserie drum sticks and now this is going to be my go2 method. You get lots of self basting and they cook really evenly...Of course NO NEED to flip them! 16 drums or 32 on two pairs of OctoForks isn't too shabby :) Served them up with some fried potatoes with...- fwismoker

NBA finals game 2 snack. Fried up some sweet Italian sausage with onions, garlic and topped with cheese. Fired up the 007 UDS with a medium sized fire and 30 minutes later for the snacks!
