i let a butt go to 207, and i left it wrapped in the cooler for like 6 or so hrs while i was at work, and i won't lie all day i was soo worried that it was going to be messed up. and most definately it was the best pulled pork i ever made.
i think its a great idea!! i dont always end up with leftovers, but sometime do and have not a clue what to do with them sometimes, so i have been comin here since i found this forum.
i smoked the butt till it was 165, then wrapped and put in oven at 225 until 200 degrees. but... i let it go to 208! i wrapped in towel in cooler. i was going to let it sit there for 2 or so hrs then pull.
will i be fine with getting to 208 degrees with it not being overdone??
that pulled pork looks amazing! hows many hrs did those smoke at till they hit 200 degrees? and how many hrs did you leave them wrapped in foil for?

steelhead a.k.a. rainbow or silver trout, but yeah i think they were on a little bit too long, but still really good. i still have about 15 lbs so i'll be doing it a few different ways.
well thanks to alot of reading posts on here the second time around was not even a comparison to my first try. so i need to thanks all involved with this site, great find.
so we did a rack of baby back ribs which i used a famous daves rub over a lil bit of mustard. did the 2-2-1 method and...
