Has anyone tried the ribs at Costco?

I was in Costco today and happened by the meat area and they had baby backs for I think it was $3.49/# and spare ribs for $1.79/#. Has anyone else used pork ribs from Costco and how'd they turn out?

They asked if I wanted the ribs cracked or not?

I'm a newbie and trying my first ribs this weekend. The place we order pork from asked if I wanted the ribs cracked or not. What the hell is that?

    Wahoo...got a smoker!

I bought a vertical gas smoker at Sears and so far have tried a couple of pork bellies and some chicken using hickory. I'm shooting for having a Memphis oasis in my Philadelphia back yard!
