    Has anyone thoroughly satisfied with their Fridge conversion build?

    Finished my conversion in May.  Works like a champ, holds temps great.  Smokin' ribs and Dutch's wicked beans as we speak...

    here are couple pics of the firebox.  Bottom of charcoal basket is about 5 inches above bottom of box.  I have 4 one inch holes on each side for air with a slide for adjustment. I normally smoke around 230-240. I did heat to 300 degree inside the fridge just to see if I could reach that temp. It...

    The inside is the original metal.  The trim around the door and just inside the door was plastic so I replaced it with aluminum strips which were were cut from stockcar body panels. I had to cover a few holes on the inside so I used the metal from the sides of an old dryer. Used 500 degree RTV...
