    Reheating a Fatty

Anyone have thoughts on reheating a fatty with eggs in it? I am putting together a breakfast fatty for my co-workes to enjoy tomorrow, and I am worried that the eggs will get rubbery after first being cooked on the stove, then in the smoker, then being reheated. Has anyone done this? If so, was...

    Mac and Cheese?

I recently made a chili-mac fattie. It turned out great. One suggestion I would make...only par cook the pasta. It will continue to cook in the juices while on the smoker. Good luck!

I think I am going to like this....

Thanks everyone. My intent with the butt was to pull it. When I realized that it wasn't as tender as I would have hoped, I sliced it. It tasted great, was just a bit tough. No worries it will be much better next time!

I think I am going to like this....

...smoking that is. I did my first smoke last weekend on my ECB. I did a small Boston Butt, and a fattie. Thanks to everyone who welcomed me, and answered my sometimes stupid pre-first smoke questions. The fattie would be chili-mac stuffed. I had made some chili a few nights before, and I mixed...

    Is this safe?

Thanks for everyone's replies. Unfortunately, I got crazy bust this weekend and didn't get to do my first smoke this weekend. I was thinking about it though, and came up with another question. When you guys and gals are done with your smoke, do you extinguish your coals? If so, how do you do it...

    Is this safe?

Thanks for the replies everyone. It seems like I should be ok. Luckily the ground that I could possibly drop hot coals onto is all grass (which I will wet down before all of this and tile. With someone on the hose, I think the transfer should work out ok. I'll be sure to let everyone know how...

    Is this safe?

Hello everyone. My first smoke is rapidly approaching, and I am super excited. I have been thinking about something though. I live in a townhouse. Our "back porch" is a screened in and tiled area about 12'X15' with a 9' or 10' roof. I regularly grill inside the screen enclosure with temps up to...

    Hello!

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. I haven't yet decided what my first smoke will be. I'm sure a fatty or 2 will make it on there at some point soon. It might have to wait until this weekend though as I have suddenly gotten very busy for the next couple of days (I hate it when that happens)...

    Hello!

Hey everyone. Chris here from Tampa, FL. I just picked up my first smoker (a one door vertical Brinkmann), and am very excited to get smoking. I have enrolled in the 5 day ecourse, and already have learned a bunch. I know absolutly nothing about smoking, but it looks like I came to the right...
