    I smoked a 5lb butt and then a chicken. I used hickory for the butt and hickory and apple for the chicken. I cooked both at around 240 and it took about 10 hrs. It was a great Saturday! Here is the qview.

    I smoked some burgers tonight. THis was the second meat I have smoked on my smoker. I just used salt and pepper, and hickory for the wood.     Yeah, I guess I read so much about over smoking that I went to light. Anybody have a good rule of thumb on how much smoke to use? I used hickory and apple. I soaked them and then had them in tin foil.

    I had an amazing weekend smoking my first butt. It was so tender and had a great flavor. It was not as smokey as I had wished. I guess I need to add more wood? Still had a blast.
