    Smoked ham for x-mas

    Started this run on Thursday night, 30 lb ham, started around midnight, started one rack of baby back ribs at noon for 6:00 supper on Friday (3-2-1).  added 10 LBS bacon at 1:00 and a fatty around 1:30.  Picture is from around 3:00 friday.  m

    Homemade Brats

    Twisting every other is how I learned to do it too.  Harder to explain than it is to train, even I got it the first time I was shown.  I just finished my first run of Wisconsin Brats, 25# worth of them.  I cured 12.5 pounds and made all of that into Brats for the smoker and hung them at 140...

    New to the Forum, my first build.

    I have been stalking around the forum for a while but figured it was time to show ya'll what I've been working on.  I posted the pictures of my Concrete Block Smoker in my profile.  I have not decided on the roof yet other than that there will be 2 4x4 hardwood beams across the top and some sort...

    Concrete smoker - anyone done it?

    I am in the middle of a Concrete Block smoker build, I have posted the Pictures in my Profile.  Hope they give you some Ideas.  I would/did use fire brick in the fire box.
