      Good looking smoker is it home made? and is that propane or electric ? also looking at those drying racks could you give me the dimensions ? new member first time checking out the site, right now am smoking venison hot dogs the taste is good but can,t seem to get the color right any ideas. Thanks unclebobbo

      It is home made from a bakery proofing cabinet.

      Nice. I am now to the forum. I have two proofing cabinets exactly like that one. I took off the casters and used the holes to bolt them to a trailer. Cut holes in the back near the bottom. Bolted on some pre-fab fireboxes. cut a 3" hole in the top and attach a 3" cast iron floor flange with a 24" pipe for a smokestack. Welded a piece of all thread to the inside of the pipe and dropped on a piece of 1/4"steel to control the damper. Had racks cut to18.5 x 28 from #9 expanded steel. cooks like a champ. Have 5 shelves in each box. can (and have) done 50 slabs of ribs at one time.
