I must confess, when I first got the AMNPS, the only thing that amazed me, was that I paid 45 bucks for what looked to me to be a refugee from an erector set. When I showed it to my wife, I immediately was made aware that there'd be no "dancing in the moonlight" that night.
After reading the directions, I discovered that I now had to purchase a blow torch just to light this thing. Well, that fact sent Queen Kong off the deep end to a place that in 46 years of marriage I never knew existed.
To make a long story short, after a couple of repositioning trials and vent adjustments, I am really happy I got this thing.:yahoo:
Fantastic TBS throughout the smoke that gave our chicken an incredible flavor that was just right. Now, I don't know if it's a placebo affect or what, but I swear that with the apple pellets, the flavor was better than any chicken I've done.
I'm a believer now and the flavor of the chicken also convinced the Ayatollah that this wasn't such a bad deal after all.:grilling_smilie:
Don't know if it's visible, but there's really nice TBS going on here.

LOL...Yep, best thing since sliced bread. And just look at all the time you save not running out to add more wood chips. Time that can be used to "help" The Boss in the kitchen. I'm sure she appreciates it

And yes, I can see the TBS. It's truely a thing of beauty isn't it?

I dont think it is possible to get nasty smoke with it.

Great product

I just ordered one, but it was the 12 inch tube model.  Is anyone using those?  All of the photos are showing the "pan" model.

Thanks for that, Bear. I like havin' some fun in my old age. Can't do the things for fun that I used to,, so I've got to settle for levity.

They say the tube puts out too much smoke for the mes.

I have the pan model.

Har. What a great post. I only got my AMNPS a couple of weeks ago and it has improved my experience so much. She Who Must Be Obeyed also enjoyed the better result so forgave my expenditure.

New to this. What does AMNPS stand for & where can I get one? It sound like just what I need for my electric Masterbuilt 3 rack analog smoker.
A-MAZE-N Pellet Smoker. I just got mine 2 weeks ago. It is a simple smoke generator that makes great smoke. Do a google search and the site has way more details. I think it has improved my smoking experience greatly.
