Hi everyone.  I am new to the world of smoking, but I already love it.  I have 1 pork shoulder under my belt and the reaction from my guests has made me want to be an expert. I love the idea of a forum where i can get my basic BBQ questions answered by people that have done this stuff before.  Of course, being in Wisconsin, I am limited on what times of the year i can smoke. Unless i want to freeze!!!  Anyway.  Thanks in advance for any help you guys are able to give me!

One thing you need to know about us is that we like to see pictures of your creations and your gear.  We call it Q-View and its basically the

Yup, I'm from WI as well.  If you can't find a smoker that can handle the WI winters, then do what I did.  Build your own (look in my title block below)!  Good luck and welcome to your new obsession!
