Hey everyone!!  Been lurking for awhile now and thought I'd join in the fun!

50 years old and retired, love charcoal grilling, gas grilling, and smoking.

I've got a new smoker that I need to pick up on August 17th that I can't wait to try out!!  Anyone interested in checking it out can click here.  It was by chance that I came across his website, and he's not that far away (about 70 miles).  I'm pressed for space so the vertical design made perfect sense.  Mine will be a bit different from the one pictured in the link as my firebox door will be on the front, and I won't have the little table (I don't need it).

Since I'll be using lump charcoal mainly, I've got some small pecan and hickory being delivered next week.  First up on the menu will be a whole chicken and some sausage!!  Can't wait!

Thanks for a great community here...........and I hope to learn a few tricks!
