I have a recipe from my PA Amish friend for Amish mustard eggs. Gotta go to store and get more eggs.

Classic movie

Crappers i feel so old.

A real classic! Boy you could not make that movie today. Any chance you'd divulge your hot pickle?
½ cups  Brown Sugar

2 Tablespoons  Mustard Seed

1 Tablespoon  Fennel Seed

1 Tablespoon  Coriander Seed

1 Tablespoon  Kosher Salt

4 cups  Cider Vinegar

2 cups  White Vinegar

1 cup  Water

4 whole  Bay Leaves

1 Tablespoon Anise

2 Tablespoons Red pepper flakes

If you have a pickling spice mix (Like Mc Cormick) you can use that at 3 Tablespoons and still add the anise and pepper.

Looks great Rick. One question, how long will it hold up in the refrig for?

The sausage n eggs in fridge for 30 days. If this was heat canned it could be for years.

The pickle brine you mix and bring to a broil. All the jars i put in dishwasher and used the heat dry at the end but makes sure any plastic is on the top rack.
