GREETINGS TO ALL, I LIVE IN NW METRO DENVER, CO. AND HAVE BEEN SMOKING / CURING MEATS AND MISC FOR ABOUT 45 YEARS. MY DAD STARTED ME OUT WITH A SMALL ELECTRIC SMOKER TO MAKE JERKY AND SMOKED TROUT AT AGE 12. I'VE USED KETTLES TO OFFSET STICK BURNERS BUT I'M HOOKED ON PELLET BURNERS, USED TRAEGERS FOR A # OF YEARS, WENT TO LOUISIANAS COUNTRY SMOKERS FOR A WHILE AND NOW PREFER THE YODER PELLET BURNERS.WE DID SOME COMPETITIONS FOR ABOUT 10 YEARS, BUT NOT IN RECENT YEARS. MOSTLY ENJOY COOKING FOR FAMILY AND FREINDS.
