Hi All

I dabbled with a cheap smoker a few years ago with pretty good results. The kid's activities left me with no time so I got away from it. Kid's are older now and I want to get back into it. I am from the South Shore in Massachusetts and don't mind standing in the cold waiting for perfectly cooked meat.

I am in the market for a smoker and the WSM is on the top of my list.

Chip, morning.... Well, if you like good smoked meats, you are in the right forum.... There are a lot of good folks here willing to help and share their recipes... Beware, this site will probably become addictive and your new home away from home.... Once you get started there is no turning back....  Take lots of pics of your experiments...  We love pics....  Glad you stopped in and enjoy the long smokey ride....   Dave

Thanks everyone. From what I have read the WSM is worth the money. I can't beleive people get 10 -14 hours without refueling. Can't wait.

Can the WSM be used as a charcoal grill without mods?
