I am going to try making weiners for the first time and want to start with a pre packaged seasoning mix. I was looking at Curly's Sausage Kitchen for their weiner mix.  Any opinions on Curly's or any other brand? Thanks.

I made wieners/franks a little while ago using AC Leggs 'Bologna/frankfurter Blend #125.

I was very pleased with the flavor profile. The franks were a bit hit. A very 'perfumey' blend of spices that really made nice-tasting franks.

You want to get ahold of DanMcg. He is the Super duper hot dog maker guy here.

We've done Curly's this year and last year and they are good, but remind me a little of bologna.  I didn't like that as much, but we made more this year for my brother's family and my parents.  I ordered some from sausagemaker, which are a little less spicy but have a good flavor.  I'd maybe add a little black pepper next time and they'd be great.  I will do more of these next year for myself.
