Picked up a nice chuckie Friday and marinated it in worch,chicago steak and evoo. Wrapped in fridge until yesterday at noon. Pulled it out fired up(plugged up) my MES and let her rip. Pics are not to good but it's my first post of my smoke.All in all it was ok. i took it 205 tried pulling it but it was a bit tough. I have done one before with no marinating time and it was fall apart tender. I will do another one.
Not really sure. I have never pre marinated one before. Not saying that pre marinated made it tough. I will say that the temps rose rather quickly and I had to adjust the temps downward 3 times. Flavor was good but it was not tender enough to pull even though I took it to 205. It was on for almost 6 hours.
