With all these new groups popping up all over this site, it's hard to keep up with which one is which. 

BUT I didn't see one for WSM's.  Now I saw one for UDS.  I joined the GOSM group because that's where I started and my GOSM holds a special place in my outdoor kitchen.  WSM owners unite. 

We will occupy downtown Tulsa until we get our group. 

Uh, no, skip that.  Let's go occupy Smokin' Al's place.....

  He's always got something cookin'.  Then we can start a AMNS/AMNPS group and we could share secret squirrel recipes for the gentle wafting smoke we all love so much.

You want a group?  Start a group.  

I guess the group starting wave will subside once the main areas of interest are identified but I hope there is a way to organize these things in a manner that makes them useful.  The thread that prompted the formation of groups was about identifing other smokers in you area and facilitating the organization and participation in local events and helping to find local resources.

Now like Chef Jimmy mentioned  "we need a group for people that wear Jack Daniels aprons while smoking"  ??

Thanks Jeff. 

I hope most readers realize my original post was intended to be more tongue-in-cheek to spark more interest in getting the groups format off to a rip roaring start.  Since that worked well, now how about one for.........????
